"To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter...to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life."  John Burroughs

In reflection last night, we were asked to reflect on what it was that we were looking for, when we decided to come to West Virginia.  An analogy of a doughnut was used and what we were missing was the hole.  We were even treated to doughnut holes at the end!

Today's home repair sites went wonderfully.  After a downpour first thing in the morning, we finished up the roof in Glen Rogers and we are almost finished in Hanover, Jesse and at the house in Pineville.  We also started a site in Mullens, helping to clean out a basement and haul trash to the dump.  After it is all cleaned up we will be replacing the ceilings for the home owner.

Today was also day 2 of Rainforest Camp.  Walking through and listening to their laughter and their singing, it was easy to see that everyone was having a great time.

Tonight for dinner we are have pasta and sauce.  Not just any sauce though, homemade sauce that has been in the process of being made for over 24 hours.  Yummy, yummy!
