"I can't be found in myself; I discover myself in others. That much is clear. And I suspect that I also love and care for myself in others."
Hugh Prather

We awoke to the pitter patter of rain hitting the metal school roof, but were happy to see it was only a passing shower and we would be able to go out and work. Work continued at the painting site and the flooring site. Much was accomplished. The painting should be done tomorrow and the flooring will be ready for tile.

We also started a new site just up the road from the school. Volunteers helped to clear brush from a driveway making it much easier for the homeowner to get up to her house. Other volunteers worked with the underpinning around the house, replacing broken pieces and popping the existing underpinning back into place. Several stray cats seem to have made under the trailer there home, but in the process had been pulling down the insulation.

Dinner was a wonderful treat of fettuccine alfredo, uncle Roberts chicken, corn salad and scrumptious leftovers from the night before. All was delicious, but it was topped off splendidly with homemade white chocolate cheesecake, with an Oreo crust and fresh raspberries on top. Yummmmmy.

For reflection tonight we reflected on things that we are grateful for, and as the group shared it was evident that there are many.
