Sunday, July 7, 2013

Yesterday saw several PVs head home and literally dozens arrive. We have the biggest week of the summer this week, and perhaps the biggest week in the history of the PVs. There will be 48 PVs scattered throughout Wyoming County this week, putting their talents to good use.

Since we have such a large group, we felt it was important to do some icebreakers and name games, so we stayed at the school which turned out to be a great decision as it turned out to be quite a rainy day. We handed over the reigns to some of our college age volunteers to lead the community day fun, and we were not disappointed. We had a lot of fun and learned a bit about each person.

The evening found us cooking out again, orientating and reorientation ourselves, and finally winding down the evening with the PV Commissioning Service, welcoming in the newly arrived and preparing ourselves for the week ahead.

Please keep the PVs in your thoughts and prayers this week for a safe and fruitful week.'
