PEACE Camp started today!!! We had a wonderful group of kids to kick off the week in Bedford Stuyvesant. This summer the campers will be going on a journey learning about other cultures. To prepare for their journey the kids made cereal box suitcases and passports to start their journey. Each day the campers will hear a fable about peace and then learn about the country of origin, tying in a couple of crafts from the region as well. Each of the different age groups are doing different countries each day, but by weeks end all will have "traveled" to each country. We will posting pictures each day, so please check in and see what we have been up to.
