Like a lot of the eastern part of the country, we lost our power last night and still did not have power this morning. Because of how the school water system is set up, when we lose power we also lose water. Throughout the county outages are very spotty. Half of Pineviile has power, half of Oceana has power. We are in Pineville and just got power at 5:15pm. We are going to head back to the school to see if the power has been restored there. Because of the no water and no power situation we had to hold up the volunteers that were planning on arriving today. If the school power is back on we can call them and give them the go ahead.
